Ever since Varuni joined my team, she made it known what her overall goal was and that she'd work hard to ensure that her performance and development were at the forefront. I worked with her to make her development plan workable while not letting her short tenure being a factor when reaching out for opportunities. She proved to be highly reliable, lending a hand when needed and strived to ensure that her colleagues were on equal footing by assisting where possible. During team huddles, she's always engaged and stimulated discussion amongst the team.

During that short time since joining Rogers, she was selected for a project opportunity as a Digital Analyst based on her drive for improvement, passion for learning other aspects of the business and most importantly, her performance. She was recognized by senior management for her contributions as a Digital Analyst who helped to improve our Virtual Assistant that had helped self-serve numerous customers and issues.

When it comes to our internal training tool, based on Axonify, she excelled as she never missed a day. This consistency in training positively impacted her customer interactions as seen in her surveys and her expanded knowledge of policies and procedures.

Varuni was always very open to feedback, assessed the benefits and worked to implement an adjustment. Having Varuni on my team was a great opportunity!

Varuni was my mentee at LNP Toastmasters Club, and I know her to be very "Friendly and Talented" leader in Toastmaster fraternity. She was the first Vice President of the LNP Toastmasters Club in Sri Lanka. She has contributed to the Toastmaster community by leading with examples. She has great ability in leadership and communication which proved by the immense effort and contribution she had given in setting up the LNP Toastmasters Club and driving its’ growth and member development. She has participated in the speechcraft training which later convert into a learning platform with tireless efforts and dedication of team building activities. As the mentor of the LNP Toastmasters Club, it was a real pleasure working with her both at the professional and personal level. I would recommend her for any leadership challenges.
